Regarding that last point, consider this idea. Do you have some spare time in your life? In these economic times, maybe the boss cut back on your hours, or maybe you had to quit your second job recently. Or, maybe you have finally reached the pinnacle for the "working man" --RETIREMENT.
Once you have this E-book, devoured its contents, and have gotten a little practice, why not consider regripping clubs for others. Start out offering to do it for your friends, then your club, then your community. You can charge a reasonable fee for your services. You can do it as a hobby or maybe even a small business if you can develop enough customers. It's just a thought.

I did a lot of research looking for all the other manuals that explained how to regrip golf clubs. Guess what? I didn't find very much that was credible or suffiently detailed. There are a couple of pretty good explanations of the regripping process, but they are buried in thick manuals regarding the art of clubmaking. That is overkill!
If you check bookstores and the Internet, there are many sources (both text and video) that have "explanations" of how to regrip. However, they were all unsatisfactory. They all had their various "steps", but there was never more than a sentence or two to describe each step…not good enough!
One video I saw was just over a minute long and tried to "talk you through" the process. These summaries are just enough to confuse you or get you frustrated as heck. None of them told you about potential questions or "what to do if...." They were OK at giving a quick overview of regripping, but terrible at giving anywhere near enough details.
Here's what I did that is different.
-- I beleive this manual is the most complete source of
information about regripping golf clubs ever published.
-- Nothing is left out.
-- Each step is described in incredible detail.
-- There are TIPS and NOTES throughout to help make
each step go smoothly.
-- Where appropriate, I describe alternative ways to
accomplish a given task.
-- In possible problem areas, I include HINTS and
CAUTIONS to help you avoid or fix the situation.
-- Each step has an "Appendix" to provide additional
information and/or alternative techniques to consider.
There are some MYTHS out there that keep golfers of all ages from ever trying to regrip their own clubs. Let's dispel a few right here.
1. It takes special, expensive tools.
Response: There are a few "simple", inexpensive
tools that help you do the job, but nothing heavy
duty or complicated. All the tools are described in
"STEP ONE".
2. Regripping requires certain skills and coordination
or you have to be the "handyman" type.
Response: Nope! When you regrip your first club,
you may feel a little awkward. That is expected…it's
a new skill. However, with a little practice, you will do
just fine. If you can walk and chew gum at the same
time, you can regrip golf clubs.
3. You need a special workbench and shop area to
regrip clubs.
Response: Nope! It would be nice if you had a
workbench in the garage or basement, true!
However, it is not absolutely necessary. I describe
the common techniques, tools, etc., but I also provide
explanations of how a given step could be accomplished
even if you had no special workspace. You can regrip
clubs on your porch, backyard, or driveway--no problem.
There you have it. I recommend you practice on an old club or two before you start regripping your regular clubs. After that, you will catch on quickly and have the whole set regripped in short order.
This is what a member of my community had to say:

Steve,
Thanks for your help teaching me how to regrip clubs. Your step-by-step method is so simple and easy to follow. After a few practice runs on a couple of old clubs, I was ready to go. Now I regrip clubs for my wife and myself whenever I want. New grips are a great feeling.

INTRODUCTORY OFFER
This version of the new E-book is an introductory offer and is specially priced at $9.97. It is now available in digital form only and you can download it instantly in PDF format. However, soon we plan to produce a hard-copy manual as well as an audio and video version. At that point, we will offer this information as a combination package at a substantially higher price.
My clubmaker colleagues tell me that releasing this manual will hurt their business by taking away their regripping customers. I am sorry about that, but this simple process is too important to all golfers. Part of golf is about scoring. Losing strokes is too painful. I want to get the information -- out there.
Others tell me that I am just giving away this information at this low price. Well, my stupidity is your gain. For the price of a medium pizza or a fraction of what it would cost you to have somebody else regrip your clubs, you can have this new skill for a lifetime.
The money you save over your golfing life will pay you back many times over…not to mention the time and hassle of taking, dropping off, and picking up your clubs at a golf shop somewhere. And, if you decide to regrip clubs for your "uninformed" buddies or others, your returns are limited only by your desire and imagination.
All golfers want to find ways to lower their scores. There is no simpler or quicker way than being able to change your own grips as needed. No lessons, new clubs, special swing aides, or long sessions on the range necessary.
Swing with your full potential.
Start saving those lost "bad-grip" strokes now.
You could have new grips and a great new feeling of confidence by your next weekend match.
